What We Do

Digital sociology is a sub-discipline of the academic field of sociology.

We focus on understanding the use of digital media as part of everyday life and how these various technologies contribute to patterns of human behavior, social relationships and concepts of the self.

The Digital Sociology Collective hosts a conference, #DigSoc, to share knowledge and learn from those working in this space. You can learn more about digital sociology as a field on Wikipedia.
